Chris Hayes America’s roads have been the #1 cause of child death for decades and America is 72nd in road safety (deaths/100K pop) and getting *worse*. USDOTs and NHTSA refuse to implement proven solutions for safety and GHG reductions. They’re just three car companies in a trench coat.

For context: there are 1000 millions in 1 Billion. How about we come up with one thousand different million dollar projects to improve the city instead of two more lanes.
