It was such a pleasure to create this experience and witness the ideas shared with our new teachers by these veteran rock stars on guided reading, math and intervention. Seeing those light bulbs come on along with new connections was awesome. Malala Elementary teachers rock!

Kudos to Fathima Noordeen! She won Rookie Teacher of the Year from Malala Elementary in Fort Bend ISD. Noordeen earned a B.S. in teaching and learning in 2022. “I have always enjoyed helping others, and just seeing the ‘ah-ha’ moment on my students’ faces is so rewarding.”
