First graders came down to teach us about the importance of good hygiene. The students were taught the proper hand washing technique! They even gave us a gift of homemade soap that they made themselves using peppermint, eucalyptus, and lavender.

We have been studying the author Eric Carle and the unique way he created his illustrations. The students used combs to create textures in the paint on their papers. Once dry, they cut out petals, stems and leaves to make flowers for our Spring bulletin board! #trinitylearns
