The thing with music is that it’s musical, it’s academic, it’s creative, it’s social, it’s expressive, it’s individual, it’s communal, it’s celebratory, it’s reflective, and it’s identity forming. Music is so much more than a subject - it’s a fundamental part of our development.

Young people don't learn the same, and they don't express or show their learning the same. The Arts give so many young people a chance to show what they can really do. Our schools need The Arts.
