Not all blurs and gradients are equal — comparing rgb, lrgb, css blur, and svg blur in chrome and safari. larsenwork.com/talks/piter/?s… My slides from pitercss_conf are up — very hacky for now...only desktop + keyboard nav 🙈 #nuxt #easinggradients

“This is a prime example of a tool doing one thing and doing it very well while encouraging creative exploration. I really, really like this” Razvan Caliman talking CSSconf EU about my #easinggradients editor — thanks for the kind words 😊🙏 youtu.be/oGobLmA_WVQ

I have to use Safari's reading mode on @medium, which is build for reading, because there top and bottom banner annoy me during reading. Go figure.

Really cool post — Motion design doesn’t have to be hard. medium.com/google-design/… I wish that building this kind of animation was easier to do. What's the best way to do this these days?

@solovev_one My favorite feature of new easings.net is that we show selected easings function on a gradient. Andreas Larsen created PostCSS plugin to apply easings to gradients to make them more natural. larsenwork.com/easing-gradien… Also, we show the real animation examples for easing.

Random thought: I'd like to thank Andreas Larsen for making the Monoid font. I've been using it for years, it's the only programming font with the crispness I crave on my 1x DPI display AND ligatures. If you have similar preferences, you should try it. larsenwork.com/monoid/

Andreas Larsen did a really good article on CSS-Tricks showing how to do 'scrim' gradients based on easing gradient values at multiple color stops to approximate the curve and reduce linear banding. My demo is based on a sine easeInOut curve without processing. css-tricks.com/easing-linear-…

LAB gradients are more beautiful. I was very happy, when dkzlv told me that Andreas Larsen’s postcss-easing-gradients got an option to use LAB. It is much more convenient for me than using gradient generators.
