The Statewide Special Election is Tuesday, Nov. 4! In Lakewood, the Vote Center at Mayfair Park Activity Room is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 3 and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Nov. 4. Or, drop your ballot in an Official DropBox at either Iacoboni Library or Nye Library.

The Lakewood Farmers Market will be closed on Saturday, Nov. 15 due to predicted heavy rain. Be sure to visit them next Saturday!

If you have out-of-town guests next week, be sure to remind them of Lakewood's street-sweeping days so they know when and where to safely park and not get cited. Sweeping will happen Nov. 24-26, but not Nov. 27-28. Get details and tips at lakewoodca.gov/visitors.

🚧 Traffic Alert: Clark Avenue Fiber-optic construction will cause lane closures on Clark Avenue through December. Work near City Hall is scheduled for Nov. 24-25 and will resume on Dec. 1. Hours are Mon–Fri, 7 a.m.–5 p.m. Lanes will reopen outside work hours when possible.

City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27-28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. No street sweeping either day. Trash pickup delayed one day: Thursday pickups will be done on Friday and Friday pickups on Saturday. See our website for details.
