Best fat bike conditions of the season! Twin Lakes singletrack was groomed Friday and the connector to Bullhead Bootleg as well. Bootleg dusting of snow, rider pack on top of rock solid level base. Use caution on corners for random icy spots otherwise really nice riding!

Eastern loop Bullhead Bootleg and all the inner singletrack segments groomed today. Flat hard deck with good traction. Rest of the FatLagChilada groomed and rolling good. Watch for a few random icy spots on the sun kissed areas otherwise great riding.

A great Wednesday of riding both day and night! Excellent conditions. An inch or so of nice dense snow this Thursday morning. We plan to groom the entire 25km FatLagChilada loop on Friday.

Entire 25km FatLagChilada course groomed yesterday after recent 6" snowfall. Excellent conditions. At Maplelag only fat bikes allowed on the groomed fat bike trails. Please no snowshoeing, walking or skiing to provide the most authentic experience possible for riding. Thanks!

Today we groomed the entire 25km FatLagChilada loop. Should be much better riding for Friday. Expect a few soft spots here and there, especially where it was drifted on the lakeside segments.

This afternoon the entire 25km FatLagChilada course was groomed. High humidity keeping the surface silky. A few soft spots but very rideable. Trail is open in the mornings this week before noon. The loop will be groomed again Tuesday mid afternoon.

The entire 25km FatLagChilada course was groomed Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Riding today was great, track is rolling very nice on a silky velcro crunchy deck. Fantastic weekend of riding in place!

All 25 miles MTB trails open. We’ve had a great week of drying. Deck is firming up more each day. We have started clearing on the course, blowing out leaves, sticks and deadfall on the singletrack. We are starting with the beginning of the LagChilada and continuing on.

Happy Easter Sunday! Entire 25 mile LagChilada course open. Surface conditions range from tacky to loamy with a few soft spots. Most of course has been blown out. Twin Lakes rolling a bit softer. Watch for a few downed trees over there otherwise good early season conditions.

Peak fall color riding conditions! Yesterday we blew out original Twin Lakes singletrack loop and Fargo segment. Hero dirt where freshly groomed! Entire 25 mile LagChilada course was cleared this week. Leaves are falling down fast, however, use a little extra caution and enjoy!

Autumn conditions. Rain Sunday turned dirt to hero status. No precipitation since. We are leaf blowing much trail as we can this week with most inner trails to be cleared by today. East loop Bullhead Bootleg and race loop Twin Lakes rolling good with scattered leaf covering.

Fantastic Fall conditions. All the inner trails cleared with leaf blower this week and Hudson's Hula cleared today. Bullhead Bootleg few more leaves but still nice riding. (Clearing tomorrow) Light rain shower yesterday keeping the dirt at Hero status. Great weekend to ride!!
