During the pandemic in WA state breast cancer screening in urban women declined by 50%, rural women by 58%. Women privately insured experienced a 50% drop in screening while women on Medicaid experienced 63% drop. Read Article: tinyurl.com/4umjd39n JAMA Network Open

More evidence shows that an increase in take home methadone during the pandemic did not worsen patient’s outcomes, including adherence to treatment, overdose and emergency department visits. We need to examine whether to keep these changes indefinitely. tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…
