Packing for a quick trip to SoCal. Wedding reception, Disney, and ???

Looks like we’re in for dinner at 10:30 tonight thanks to having three minutes to make it to our connecting flight instead of the 70 minutes we were supposed to have.

Settled in at the hotel. Had to do a Home Alone sprint through SLC due to the first of our two flights arriving almost an hour late (and almost had an asthma attack). Then got rear ended in the Raising Cane’s drive thru (no damage). 🙃

Good morning, Disneyland Resort!

Two and a half hours in and we’ve hit almost all our favorites. Six rides down; many more to go. #Disneyland

Dole Whip is heavenly!

We made it 14 hours at Disneyland. 20+ rides including Big Thunder Mountain during fireworks (which was perfect).

Final tally: 29701 steps (13.38mi)

Bro. The fountain at the Anaheim Convention Center is broken. I hate this timeline.

Had some time to kill before the flight and ended up in Irvine on the campus of… UC Irvine. #GoAnteaters

Sometimes staying at the little independent hotels around Disneyland has its perks. At checkout today, the manager said he flagged me for a discount on my next stay because I’ve stayed there twice in the past three years.

Had an outpatient procedure this morning that required fasting/liquid diet for the past two days. Thankfully Habit Burger & Grill 🍔 hooked me up with so much bacon on my sandwich, I think it out weighed the main protein.
