We are painting peg dolls, as ourselves. We are mixing colours to match our skin tones and choosing a colour or colours for the outfit. This will help ensure we have a doll that looks like each of us in KB ❤️

We have been sorting in math! Today one friend sorted our animals by size, colour, spots/ strips/ or solids, and herbivore/ omnivore or carnivore! Amazing to see how many ways we can sort one set of items!

Lots of ways to sort our toys, some friends benefit from more clear sorting mats- with pictures showing ways to sort and some friends are wanting to see objects and make their own sorting rule!

Students loved finding the letters in their individual sensory bins, making the sound the letter makes, finding the letter on their page and getting to use the bingo dabber to show what they found! Just one of our literacy centres open for play today ✏️ 📚

We are learning about 2D shapes! Today we were challenged to build shapes in our centres. We noticed we could only build shapes with straight edges with Duplo such as squares, rectangles, triangles and diamonds. We were able to make circles and ovals with play dough!
