Brilliant treatment at Barts Health Whipps Cross hopsital this morning. In and out of A&E in 2.5 hours. All staff were brilliant, from reception to x-ray to the minor injuries unit. Still definitely broken, but now cast free and with an ugly orthopaedic shoe 🤣🏨🏥

When I broke my foot, I didn't have time to sit still. I thought I'd be up and running in days. Turns out the doctor was right. I'm not superhuman, and it likely will be 1 month of rest and 3 months before full recovery. It's hard. I'm not made to go slow! Is this growing up?

Shopmobility services at Lakeside are excellent. Huge recommend. Enabled me to buy news shoes to help this poor invalid walk again!

Just over six weeks ago, I was in a cast and couldn't walk. I went back to the UK and was lovingly nursed back to health by my family before returning to Brussels. Yesterday, I did 25k+ steps around Paris and saw some inspiring Olympic athletes. Bodies are wild! So grateful.
