Advice for early career scholars: Take some low hanging fruit to make yourself more authoritative. Instead of saying "researchers have found X and Y [cites]," just say, "X and Y [cites]." Tell us what's happening, and also let us we can trust you on what's happening.

The amount of time faculty now spend doing on-line trainings & university administrators spend creating on-line trainings with seemingly no consideration/questioning about evidence of effectiveness (let alone benefits/costs) is quite dismaying. End of rant. Back to training...
