Glad I ~finally~ relaxed into my Southern accent. I spent most of my life erasing it because I thought I needed to assimilate. Now I don’t give a fuck about that. I come from country ass deeply Southern factory workers, domestic cleaners & sharecroppers. This is how I talk.
