God already knows everything about us. We’re not hiding anything. He knows our weaknesses, our fears, our doubts. You don’t have to have it all together. You’re a work in progress. God’s not finished with you.

God is saying to you, “I’m going to repay you for the years the enemy has stolen, years you spent lonely, years you spent being mistreated. You’re going to have plenty of joy, plenty of peace, plenty of resources, plenty of opportunities.”

If you feed your guilt, it’s going to get bigger. If you feed your fear, it’s going to become larger. What if you spent that same energy feeding your faith, feeding your hopes, feeding your dreams?

You may feel like you’re doing the same thing over and over, but when it feels like you’re going in circles, something is happening that you can’t see. You’re coming up higher; you’re growing. God is making you and molding you.

It looks like it’s going to take a long time to get well, to break the addiction, to meet the right person. No get ready. It’s going to happen quickly. It’s going to be unusual, out of the ordinary. You’re going to know it’s the hand of God.

It’s time to kiss some things goodbye. Kiss failure goodbye; this is a new day. Kiss guilt goodbye; you’re forgiven. Kiss what didn’t work out goodbye. God has something better.

Here’s to a happy, healthy, and hopeful 2020. Happy New Year, everybody!

You may not like it, it may be uncomfortable, but stay in faith. They meant it to harm you, but God is going to use it to promote you. When He pays you back, you’re not going to come out the same.

God’s about to show out in your life. He’s about to do something unprecedented, out of the ordinary. Get ready for new ground. Get ready to go where you couldn’t go on your own.

Our hearts ache for the family of George Floyd, and for the many others throughout our nation who have endured the cruelty of racism.   We know injustice in any form breaks the heart of God and we are praying for peace, love, and healing to take place in our country.
