The M1 MacBooks are some of the best products Apple has ever made. I've had mine for almost 3.5 years now and I can't find a single reason to upgrade. It's fast, really fast, it has a fantastic display, speakers are great, battery life is good. They absolutely cooked.

Set up a small home server/NAS last week - a Raspberry Pi 5 running Open Media Vault and NextCloud, with a couple of SSDs in RAID 1. Setting it up was pretty straightforward and enjoyable. Now I wish I'd set one up years ago - we keep finding more and more uses for it.
