As a gamer I would much rather see the devs have work-life balance even if that means delays, rather than getting the game few months earlier, enabled by misery of the rank-and-file employees.

P2E is fundamentally flawed approach to gaming. Plus most gen1 web3 games are missing even basic in-game economy models, most notably Axie Infinity that seems to be missing basic supply&demand logic. Which would be very easy to fix.
