A new journal to mark a new beginning. I am challenging myself to find 3 to 5 things a day that bring me joy....todays 3 are 1. My niece's compassion 2. My nephew's sense of humour 3. An absolutely gorgeous day

Seven days into journalling things that bring me joy and I am really enjoying the process. I also add a quote for the day. Today I chose this one.

Today I found joy in collaborating with my coworkers. Monday the Sunflower School is re-opening and welcoming the children back. The staff have been back this last week preparing and it's been so nice to re-connect with them all. #thesunflowerschool #reggio #joyful

I feel like this is even more important today. I struggle yo find joy some days but I really want to. I'm 2 weeks into my challenge and I will admit some days are harder than others but I always find something.

Today I found joy in the ordinary...pulling up to my new home, having a 3 minute commute to work hitting all green lights and cuddling with my niece...never take for granted the simplest things that can bring so much joy.

This makes my heart proud.
