DPIRD has received reports of basal stem rot (seen here), which is an unusual form of the sclerotinia stem rot in #canola that occurs before flowering through direct infection of stems. Use the SclerotiniaCM decision support tool now to decide whether or not and when to spray.

Whether it's early sown or late sown barley in the medium to high rainfall zone in 2021, there is likely to be a significant amount of yield to protect. Here Kenton Porker gives an overview of the two PGR timings for either lodging control or head loss control in barley.

About to commence the 2022 sub surface drainage program. Surveying has been done thanks to Philip Honey from Stirlings to coast farmers, got some great data from it. And now it’s all up to Dan from Drainage Downunder to get it done.
