Two Ahmadiyya worship places desecrated. On October 11 at around 02:15 am Punjab Police Official from Ahmednagar Chatha PS desecrated the worship place by demolishing its minarets in Mohlanke Chatha, Gujrawala. It was built in 1954 thus making this action in violation of the LHC’s order

Following the above event, another incident occurred in Gujranwala where Punjab Police Official desecrated Ahmadiyya worship place, built in 1953, in Gakhhar Mandi by demolishing its minarets & vandalised the property. Shehbaz Sharif Maryam Nawaz Sharif Mohsin Naqvi

Religious extremists pressurised the police to demolish these minarets despite Lahore High Court's Order by Hon'ble Jutice Tariq Saleem Shiekh that Ahmadiyya places of worship built before 1984 can neither be razed nor altered.

The Police not only ignored the Court’s ruling but also vandalised the property. In this month 4 Ahmadiyya worship places have been desecrated by the authorities. The Police must stop appeasing the extremists & should safeguard Ahmadis' religious freedom & ensure their safety.

Ahmadis are being forced to sign different statements in various districts across Punjab and in some parts of Sindh. Punjab government officials are issuing threats and harassing individual Ahmadis while issuing conflicting statements on the matter.

It is a blatant violation of Ahmadis religious freedom. There is no legal basis for forcing Ahmadis to submit such writings. These acts are not just discriminatory they are unconstitutional and inhumane. Why are Ahmadis are being punished for peacefully practicing their faith?

Every year these unlawful actions by authorities to deprive patriotic, peace-loving Pakistani Ahmadis of their rights, merely to appease extremist groups, is unacceptable. When will this cycle of deprivation end? The govt must take immediate action to stop this unlawful practice
