🧵Female athletes please read: 1. The menstrual cycle does NOT have a dropsies phase 2. There is no high-quality evidence to say that your reaction time will be decreased in Phase 1 (when oestrogen and progesterone are low) & 4 (when oestrogen and progesterone are high)

9 mths ago I left Tassie for a postdoc at UConn with the brilliant ecleelab. Today I’m lucky enough to be in a George Brooks lecture after a great few days with the team at #APS2025. So much to learn! Stay tuned for super interesting resilience, heat, and multi-omics research!
