Does suppressing negative thoughts harm us? According to our paper in Science Advances with Zulkayda Mamat , suppressing fearful thoughts can improve mental health, done correctly, with bigger benefits seen in those with worse intrusive thought symptoms science.org/doi/full/10.11…

New preprint! Using content overlap analysis, we find very limited overlap between 12 Climate Anxiety scales (mean Jaccard Index of 0.08). Importantly, it's the very first paper of Silke's PhD on Climate Anxiety🥳 with Kevin van Schie & Tom Smeets osf.io/preprints/psya…

Yesterday, a colleague of mine told me about another’s colleague research in which men smell women’s tears. She then continued to tell me that the tears first need to be *harvested*. It’s the most alien sci-fi research practice I’ve ever heard. Intrusive images all the way!

Hey Center for Open Science, I submitted a registration yesterday and it’s been on “pending approval” ever since. I’m the only administrator but have not received an email to approve. I’d like to start data collection sooner rather than later. What can I do?

Whatever happened to X? I know though, you don’t have to tell me. We all know. My question is, are we still using it for science communication/sharing/networking or is everyone migrating to other platforms? I miss the old science Twitter and am trying to find that again.
