Pediatric Anesthesia Pro Tip # 15: Heteronormative "banter" pre-induction can be distressing for LGBTQ youth. Assume your patient *isn't* straight when asking "innocent" questions about their social life, hobbies and interests.

The TSA still requires everyone to remove their shoes, coats, and bags a full two decades after 9/11, but nobody will require masks and boosting to protect disabled people after over 1,031,000 Americans dead from COVID-19. Make it make sense.

Brené Brown: "When the culture of any organization mandates that it is more important to protect the reputation of a system and those in power than it is to protect the basic human dignity of the individuals who serve that system or who are served by that system . . ."

Obviously there’s work to be done to improve this ranking. I, for one, will endeavor to do a better job explaining to our wonderful Utah women how great our economy is. #utpol

The Queen's funeral provides valuable insights into why a trauma-informed approach is so counter-cultural for Britain. Bottom line: We esteem suffering. Duty, denial, transcendence, connection. It's all there, mixed together. A THREAD.

I don’t want to live in a country that has all the money in the world for cops and war, but no money for public health and healthcare for all. There is no future in this. None.

It can not be stressed enough how exceedingly unusual it is for the state to request releasing someone (especially a murder suspect) from prison. A pretty clear sign they don't believe he is guilty after their new investigation.

Yet, there's a whole episode of Serial still up in which those "pings" are reported as likely placing Adnan at the burial site, without a disclaimer or correction of any kind.

Please note, Black people have been in this church since the very beginning. Yet, we’ve been in the way way back since the very beginning. Yes, we’ll celebrate the first black woman being to a gen pre in 2022 & celebrate her speaking at general conference in 2022! Thank you!

This is hard! It feels like a force feed and a double down on racism. I see how they maneuver #GeneralConference reason #2300 why I believe Rachel Richardson.

Im’ma be honest, I don’t have the bandwidth to sit with the support of racism and tweet the words of these men. Inserting Brad Wilcox is an intentional show of support of what he said and what the leaders believe. “What about Whites and others!” #GeneralConference
