Saw Kayden Mingo has committed to Penn State. Like this get for Mike Rhoades & the Nittany Lions. Kid has good size, at 6'2, & can play either guard spot with great efficiency. Gets above the rim with ease & will knock down deep jumpers. Will be fine in the Big Ten.

Just saw 6'10 Luke Bevilacgua has committed to Lafayette/Mike McGarvey has stolen a big man who has been getting better every year/Size & strength with ability 2 score from inside & out will make Leopard fans happy. Going to be hard for many Patriot teams to match up against him.

Have always been a little slow to demanding Shot Clocks 4 HS. However, just watched a great game that was well played with a lot of heart. With 60 secs to go in a tie one team got the rebound and held for last shot. That is biggest .reason we need a shot clock

6'7 Declan Wuchpfennig of Bergen Catholic is a flat out steal for Fairfield. Good frame, handles on wing, shoots 3s & can get to the rim & finish well. On top of that he rebounds. He will help them win games on day one. Stags fans will love him.

At the Dennis Gregory Memorial Classic & just watched St Peter’s Prep beat a good Seton Hall Prep team by 14. For my money St. Peter’s is best team in state. If we can just get someone with a brain back running the NJSIAA & get the famous NJ TOC back we could prove if I’m right.

At the annual Jeff Cooley Classic at Rancocas Valley HS. Watching Manasquan battle Lenape after watching Rancocas Valley beat Delsea. Always a great event with great talent & hospitality. Jay Flanagan does a great job hosting. RVBB | RVRHS Athletics

At Hoop Group’s Lehigh Valley’s Hoop Showcase & watched 5’8 Jacob Meachem go for 25 for The Hill School against a talented Perkiomen School. There R not many 5’8 players better. Won’t look like much in the lay up line but Bison fans at Bucknell are gonna love this kid in a hurry.

Colonia beat National power La Lumiere as Aiden Derkack hit an And 1 to win 51-50. The 6’6 Jr is the real deal and went for 33. The coach’s son Jayce Rodriguez, only a freshman, will be pretty dam good also. Colonia is good right now but by next year could be really good.

St Peter’s beats Hudson Catholic 52-40 in Hudson Country Boys Championship in a game way closer than the final score. You better bring your A Game when you play these schools. Peter’s Jr Mason Santiago is a beast.

Biggest story in NJ scholastic sports is the fact that the new leadership in the NJSIAA cancelled the TOC. When you look at who the Final Four could be, the double header would be tremendous. Somebody needs to step up & get this woman running NJ sports out of our business.

At the Virginia Independent School Semi-Finals. 4 Divisions, 8 games. All at Richmond Benedictine School. Every team has players for a lot of different levels. Best scholastic event in the country today.

Closing in on the end of the eight game day at the Virginia Independent School Four Division Semifinals. A tremendous event. Almost all the credit goes to VA’s Walter Webb you runs this event from Soup to Nuts. Can’t give him enough credit.

See 6’4 combo guard Ethan Lin from Montgomery NJ has committed to Penn. Kid has a crafty handle & explosive when in the lane. Great size at either position. Think he is destined to have a great career in the Ivy League.
