It's really so crazy to me how you can take a day off of work for a funeral, but have to go back the next day like everything is fine and normal. Like you aren't still grieving. You just have to be present in work even tho you're not present. Life really doesn't stop for anyone.

My cat started waking us up by meowing and stepping around our heads at the crack of dawn demanding food a few weeks ago. So now, when she is napping mid day, we will stomp around on the bed and meow to see how she likes it
