done anything wrong. I told him that Mama thinks that I did. I can't talk, and that she's taking all that I know from me. He told me to let

out all of my anger. That was all that Papa could say. He was going to miss me. Papa and I had always been closer than Mama and I. That

night as Papa and I returned home, he glared at Mama. So began the three days of silence in our home. No one mentioned what Mama had done.

On my last day of freedom, I went into the town. Just as I always had. That day, the music and festivities did not make my heart soar as it

always had. I smiled but it was not one of excitment or promise. It was a statment of one last night of seeing this. I closed my eyes and

listened to the music. Memorizing it. I would miss it. The town the people. And the merchants. All who had given me peace. Though not on

this day. When the music had stopped, I slowly had made my way home. Taking in the Suez and all of Egypt. I took it all in. That way when I

came back, I would not be a dunce and not know where everything was. Unknowingly to me, Ozymandias had been in the crowd. He had been

watching me. I returned home all in one piece. And went straight to my bed. I tossed and turned, unable to sleep for my nerves for the next

day. I could not sleep for knowing that in a matter of hours I would be leaving everything that I had ever known. I sighed as I looked out

of the window at the stars. Wondering what would happen. The stars and the moon brought me peace as they danced across the night sky. I was

finally able to fall asleep with my soul at peace for a short time. The next morning, Mama came in and called me from my sleep. Telling me

that it was time. I had popped up in my bed. As I got out of my bed, the cool morning's dusk greeted me. The sun was no where near ready to

bring it's blistering heat to the earth. Today was it. It was my judgement day. Before dawn, they would be there. Mama was determined to get

me out of this town. As I walked out into the pre-dawn heat, Papa stood beside the door, looking wary but strong. His hug proved to me that

he did not, for the world, want to let me go. He told me that he loved me. That he always would and to never forget it. And that he never

would stop. As I had hugged Papa, I told him that I loved him. I had closed my eyes, taking in his warmth and scent. Commiting it to memory.

I had known in my heart that I probaly would never see him again. After five minutes, Papa and I had let go of each other. I had said good

bye to my sisters the night before. As Mama and I walked side by side, she told me to be a good girl. And to listen to all that

as we approached Ozymandias . He had stood tall and proud. Looking strong and broad in the shoulders.
