Sweat-ember continues on! Muggy and mild this morning with an unseasonably hot afternoon. This looks to be the pattern throughout the rest of the week.

Stuck in the summer-like feel this week! Looking at a real copy-and-paste kind of forecast through the rest of the week with highs staying in the upper 90s. Could we find some relief next week? Eh, potentially but I'm not overly optimistic.

We're rounding out the end of summer with even more above average temperatures. This will carry into the weekend with few rain chances in sight until high pressure weakens into next week. Until then, expect more hot and dry conditions as we roll into astronomical fall!

The calendar reads September, but the weather certainly feels more like July/August! Most of the area is starting off the day near 80°, with a bit of fog, especially across our southern counties. By this afternoon, you guessed it, back to the upper 90s

Searching for that fall feel, but we are coming up short! Mild and muggy mornings persist as do afternoon high temperatures climbing to the upper 90s. There *could* be some hope for *slightly* cooler temps and some rain chances by mid-next week. Let's talk about it!

Thursday Evening First Alert Forecast: Surprise...it's still hot!! Temperatures will climb into the upper 90s every afternoon this weekend, including the first day of fall on Sunday.

Are we sure Fall starts this weekend? Because it sure doesn't feel like it! Another muggy start with some patchy fog this morning. Much like yesterday, we'll clear the skies and aim for high temperatures just shy of the century mark.

Summertime sizzle with fall just around the corner! A downright HOT weekend is in store for the Brazos Valley with highs sitting in the mid/upper 90s. Looking for some cooler weather, we *may* get some around mid/late next week. Also keeping eyes on the Gulf over the next week.

Friday Evening First Alert Forecast: Heading out to high school football tonight or Aggie football tomorrow? Both gamedays are going to be very warm! Pack some extra water as you head out to the field!

It's officially the last day of summer, and we have a classic summertime evening on tap for us across the Brazos Valley. Hot and sweaty conditions this evening will make for a warm and muggy overnight, with more of the same as we roll into the fall season on Sunday.

It's officially fall, but it's not feeling like it! This hot Sunday will make for a warm overnight, with spotty rain chances to go with the next couple of afternoons. After that, those rain chances become more promising as a cool front potentially stumbles into the Brazos Valley!

Back to Monday! Most of us will wake up to temperatures in the mid 70s, with a bit of patchy fog possible, especially for our southernmost counties. Highs climb to the mid 90s this afternoon with a few showers possible ahead of a cold front to our north.

Waiting on that fall feel... The main focus of the forecast this week is a cold front currently spread across the state. It will ebb and flow over the next 48 hours, prompting a few rain chances for the Brazos Valley as early as today but better chances Tuesday/Wednesday.

9:35am Radar Update: Starting to see some showers pop up mainly north of 79 this morning. We'll watch for more of this through the afternoon.
