At the end of 2014, a new surgical facility on the roof of Bristol Royal Infirmary's King Edwards Building was completed. KB2 were appointed to design the steel frame to support the prefabricated modular build, an unusual design challenge. #kb2at40 #structuralengineers #bristol

Completed in 2017, KB2 provided the structural design of a new 3-storey building at The New Room, an historic Grade I listed building known to be oldest Methodist chapel in the world. The project received a £2.5m Heritage lottery fund grant. #kb2at40 #structuralengineers #bristol

2018 KB2 worked on refurbishment of the Avenue Shopping Centre reclaiming the façade that was overclad in the 1980’s. It was fascinating to see what was covered up. The new look is a modern take on the landmark building it once was. #kb2at40 #structuralengineers #bristol

Starting in 2019 Poole Farm Barn, a project to convert an agricultural building in North Somerset into a residential dwelling. The finished building combines modern high-spec finishes along exposed steelwork reflecting the buildings past. #kb2at40 #structuralengineers #bristol
