I rarely post on here. But for my birthday month, would you like to help about 30 children’s charities in the Ozarks? They’re part of our Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Hiland Dairy And win a 2025 GMC Canyon? For only $25? Try this link: tinyurl.com/y6zmuptp

Sad to see folks and even sports teams creating memes, gifs or fake skits of the CEO and HR Director at the Coldplay concert. Just not funny. Think of the wife, the kids and extended family and know they’re hurting. You’re funny isn’t funny to them. It’s deep and real.

Whatever happened to a simple summer evening in the local rec league and getting a free Coke from the concession stand (for kids who return foul balls, players after the game)? “Market has expanded” = people trying to make a buck Let them be kids. Let them be teenagers.

At the Church of Baseball, for the final regular-season game of the year. @SgfCards have won 87 games this summer. Incredible. They’re playing the San Antonio Missions, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres.

lede = introductory section in journalism bury the lede = hiding the most relevant pieces of a story within other distracting information Allegedly, it’s spelled ‘lede’ to avoid confusion with ‘lead,’ which was the strip of metal that would separate lines of type.
