FDA approval of Alzheimer drug was based on “earlier approval of drugs that treat serious conditions and that fill an unmet medical need based on a surrogate endpoint”. They forgot (pun intended) to ensure that it really "fills" a patient need, however. ja.ma/2VXsH7l
