Our first faculty meeting included celebrations, MAP training, LION planning, and Collective Efficacy Resumes for our Student Success and Specials Team! We love learning Spring Valley Elem.

Spring Valley’s AP, Jackie Villarreal, completed a fabulous first fire drill, starred in a parent info video, connected with parents, and let the students name her pet fish today (winner tba tomorrow). She brings so much joy to our campus!

It’s been a busy, exciting week at Spring Valley! Parent info nights, MISD Cheerleaders, Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. V supporting the team of the week, and our Kinder students learning about the 5 senses with POPcorn. It was so much fun! Enjoy your 3-day weekend, SVE.

The people behind the magic! The SVE specials teachers made sure Games with Grandparents was the perfect SVE event! From planning, decorating, greeting, and loving on kids…this crew did it ALL today. We are so thankful for this team of ladies!

Students aren’t the only people learning at SVE! Instructional rounds, and extra planning time, help us refine our practice each six weeks. We always want to be the best for our kids and love learning from each other. #collectiveefficacy

Such a fun day!

It was a big day at the Valley! Our teachers and staff are simply amazing. I love that they get to be celebrated this way. Thank you for the honor, Waco Tribune-Herald!

Some of our SVE students decided to donate their storybook character pumpkins to local assisted living homes to brighten the residents day! We are so proud of them! Already planning a field trip next year, so students can deliver the pumpkins themselves!

Last night, the MISD School Board recognized Spring Valley for winning the Waco Trib’s Readers Choice Award for Best Elementary School in Central Texas. I could not be more excited for our school!

SVE gives back! Each grade has level adopted a local charity in the spirit of Christmas giving. Feel free to donate to any charity between Nov. 28-Dec.12. we will deliver items by Dec. 16th. Thank you for giving back, SVE family!
