We hosted a very special guest at the Kanbe’s warehouse earlier this week. Meet Hansel, one of the many friends at the Farm To Able Animal Sanctuary & Rescue who are fed by produce lovingly redirected from the Kanbe's warehouse to his trough by our team. [🧵 1/4]

I've been called a "pig" while eating before, but after meeting Hansel, I'm choosing to take that as a compliment. It was fun having Hansel visit Kanbe's Markets this week—it's encouraging to see how we're able to redirect food from landfills while helping local nonprofits.

7️⃣ YEARS ‼️ Today marks seven years since Kanbe's made its first produce delivery at 31st and Prospect. Since then, our incredible team has moved millions of pounds of produce and expanded food access for a quarter of a million Kansas Citians—a feat we take immense pride in.
