Jennifer Hutton, library aide, Kingman Middle-High School, was recognized this past Friday as a Kansas Teachers spring $500 grant winner. Kim Reazin, K-2 special education teacher at Erie Elementary School, USD 101, was honored as a spring Kansas Teachers $500 Classroom Grant winner. Kim is going to use the funds to purchase classroom supplies to support her work in special education classroom! Congratulations Kim!
Bryce Westphal, science teacher at Augusta Schools Middle School, was recently honored for winning a fall, '24, Kansas Teachers classroom grant. Bryce will be using the $500 to purchase science lab equipment for his classes. Congrats Bryce!
Amy Vernon, 6th grade teacher at Ell-Saline ES, USD 307, Brookville, was awarded a $500 Kansas Teachers Teacher Scholarship. Bruce Major, Regional Membership Director made the presentation. Amy will be using the funds to further her education in leadership studies. Congrats Amy!
Kansas Teachers honored Jennifer Kay, counselor at South Central Schools, USD 300, Coldwater, recently as a fall '24 $500 Teacher Scholarship winner. Jennifer will be using the funds to continue her pursuit of a professional counseling license. Congrats Jennifer!

Calena Awesome, a graduated senior Fort Hays State University, was recently recognized as the Kansas Teachers '24 Doug Barnett History Student Schship winner. She was recently honored at Chisholm Trail ES, Wichita Public Schools, where she is now teaching. Congrats Calena!
Bridgett McMichael, 6th grade Social Studies teacher at Augusta Middle School, Augusta Schools was recently awarded a $500 stipend as the Kansas Teachers 2024 winner of the Doug Barnett History Teacher Scholarship. Congratulations Bridgett!
Joel Condray, 6th grade teacher at Challenger Intermediate School, USD 265 - Goddard Public Schools, was recently honored as a Spring Kansas Teachers winner of a $500 classroom grant. Joel will be using the funds to purchase sensory-friendly, flexible seating for his classroom. Congrats Joel!

Sara and her colleagues will be purchasing spirit pompoms and a feather flag for the stuco to enhance school spirit and student engagement. Congrats Sara!
