You know where the UK scene flopped it. It was never based on talent. It was too small to look past trends and algorithms and because it’s market is so small the consumers just follow. Artists too, they co-sign who’s most beneficial to their longevity, not who the think is good.

The UK scene is like any other art. You go into 100,000 people’s house and they have the “ home is where the heart is” plaque. Cos they understand it. They ain’t got abstract canvases or w/e because they don’t understand the art. Lowest common denominator music is what we push.
