any bit of ability for an AI to come up with its own logic/reasoning is extremely concerning, even if it’s at a kindergartener’s level. the mind of a kid might seem powerless but we don’t know what that kid can do when you put the knowledge from the entire internet in its head

Most people go about building a SaaS or micro-SaaS the wrong way. Before you build anything you need to know there’s demand for your product. The best way to know is by getting people to preorder or seeing they’re willing to get their credit card out.

This is what I see as good validation for a product: 1. People paying an invoice 2. A lot of people signing up for a waitlist (200+) What is NOT validation: 1. People saying it’s cool 2. People saying they’d buy it

The worst thing you can do is disconnect yourself from your business. Even if you have dozens of employees, I think it’ll always be good to make an effort to take sales calls, customer support calls, and even being involved with development or marketing.

The more I run my business the more I realize how valuable sales skills are. Good sales skills help you in: - Raising money from investors - Convincing good talent to work for you - Understanding what customers want - Selling team members on your ideas or direction - etc.
