I have two simple rules when it comes to choosing the tech stack: Want to get a project done quickly and efficiently? Stick with what you know. Done is better than perfect. Want to learn something for future projects? Try a new framework, a new language, a new tool, etc....

Look at other programming languages from time to time. You can learn a lot from other approaches.

Adding a dependency for very few lines of code is questionable. In general, you should think more carefully about adding dependencies to a project. They are not called dependencies for nothing.
