Something different with those not on Residential in y3...you're on a boat, swallowed by a wave, spit out on a deserted island: describe your arrival onto shore. Stimulus, plan, write, edit/proofread/publish in under an hour! So much fun with them this morning Jane Considine

First write back of the new academic year for year 4, enjoying Jane Considine's #bikeboy "Bolting along the zebra crossing of the bright town, he observed intensely and wanted to know more" 🫶

I've been asked what I have to do to plan effectively for a writing lesson...truth is, Jane Considine 's plans are so detailed, I create and scribble across my cheat sheet, then label my means of participation and how I will engage/hook the class, I feel this is manageable 👍

I personally enjoy modelling my sentence stacking and live writing on Goodnotes mirroring to my IWB. The teaching of PaG whilst demonstrating how to compose a sentence/paragraph has benefitted our pupils immensely Jane Considine

Our ks1 team are committed to finding the right layout and pitch for their class, Year 1 have started their stacking journey with Jane Considine's #thewaybackhome by Oliver Jeffers and are loving it 🫶 Well done Year 1 ❤️

Hugely impressed with the conclusion of our first unit, #bikeboy from the Jane Considine unit plan. The children adapted the 'coming of age' story to describe the evolution of a young caterpillar, eager to mature into a butterfly. Love how the journey supported their own plans ❤️

"Hardest part is letting go...setting them off to write their independent piece" Heard this so much, but with the ideas pitched in Jane Considine 's firework maker's daughter plan, the application from their guided journey was smooth and enjoyable ❤️ Lila > Mulan 👌
