I asked 5.3 to fix something just before I realized that was not an issue. codex simply ignored my request and pointed out something else that was actually broken

I coded quite a lot with codex 5.3, made an app and refactored a codebase, it compacted the context a few times, and it just kept going. On the $20 plan. Fast, good quality.
