Studying self-harming behaviors (e.g., suicide, binge/purge episodes, NSSI) using intensive longitudinal designs (e.g., EMA) is necessary. An intuitive concern is that repeatedly asking about these behaviors may exacerbate them or contribute to their increase. Does it? 1/5
