I knew that vote would be a big one, but I didn't appreciate how emotional I'd be about a 93% vote in support of a consent calendar. #UMCGC

It is odd to see monumental change via a routine vote on a consent agenda with 93% support, masking the work that thousands of faithful witnesses have been doing for decades to get to this point. Today doesn't erase past harm, but is a welcome promise of what is to come. #UMCGC
