#dabears defense is probably about what it was in 2023 - a really solid back 7 anchored by their DBs that could become a top10 unit if they ever decided to go all-in on an elite pass rusher... I like it much more than the healthy version of the 2025 unit.

The funniest part of the fair/foul debate- aside from how little it matters- is that ONE person claims to have gotten a quote from MLB. And fans think it was an official announcement because 4 reporters aggregated the quote. It was one unnamed source talking to a podcaster. 😂

I can't stress enough funny it is to me that people are putting so much weight in a singular unofficial quote to a podcaster when the podcaster won't even reveal who said it. There are onyl two people at MLB qualified to give that quote. Anyone else giving it is meaningless.

To thoae arguing against how unfair it is that Jack Campbell didn't get a Y5 option. 1) Boohoo. The Lions shouldn't have used a R1 pick on a MLB. 2) Good for Campbell. The goal is always to get to your next contract as quickly as possible. He's getting there a year faster.
