Last weekend I forgot my golden rule, which is never to back against Spurs when they are playing Everton. I dunno why the Toffees always have stinkers against Spurs, any more than I know why the best Spurs team of all time would fail to beat a Chelsea under-11 team.

I have a blood test booked today for 2.30 pm. I can't, for the life of me, find the message that suggested I needed a blood test so I have no idea whether I need to fast or not. If I do, booking the test for 2.30pm was really stupid of me.

I've just added Dune Imperium to my Steam wishlist and I am wondering why. Although I like the board game a lot, I've got about a dozen board game implementations on Steam and hardly play any of them. What I need is another epidemic to hit the country forcing everyone indoors.

I have somewhat got the hump with Mrs JournoJohnH, after an incident late yesterday afternoon. I don't think she has realised I am continuing my childishness this morning. I'll have to huff and puff extravagantly and be a bit more surly, so my darling gets the message.

It's disappointing to learn play.boardgamecore.net/main.jsp will be closing on 8 Jan. SFAIK, it's the only place to play Food Chain Magnate online (can Tabletop Simulator do it?); I doubt I'll ever play it FTF again. Is Boardgamearena .com killing the competition (cf. Boitajeux .net)?
