BREAKING: 75% of the 1600 US scientists who answered a Nature poll say they’re considering leaving the US. I want MAGA to explain to us all how this is remotely a good thing that Trump has caused. Let’s hear the spin.

TRUMP on the NSC firings: "Always, we're going to let go of people, people we don't like" or can't do the job or "may have loyalties" to someone else.

Donald Trump’s announcement of near-universal tariffs has shocked investors out of any complacency they may still have held regarding the new administration’s trade policies econ.st/4lgyXy8

I really don't understand why so many knowledgeable and sophisticated people have been "shocked" by Trump's actions since January 20. Did anyone read Project 2025? Did anyone watch who he kept close? Aside from some details, destruction and folly were always in the cards.

Jesus—Trump just said that he will be looking at exempting certain US companies from tariffs. Reporter asks: “How will you determine that” Trump: “Instinctively”. Sounds like whoever will bend the knee and kiss the ring.

We just witnessed the full Trump cycle. 1) Make horrible policy decision. 2) Create lot of pain. 3) Falsely claim problem is solved. 4) Reverse course. 5) Leave things worse than before. Rinse. Repeat.

Seems like a good day to remind everyone that Auschwitz — a complex of over 40 concentration and extermination camps — was not located in Nazi Germany either.

From the U.S. Holocaust Museum: "What distinguishes a concentration camp from a prison (in the modern sense) is that it functions outside of a judicial system. The prisoners are not indicted or convicted of any crime by judicial process." Welp.

The Constitution says that "No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law." So what was the law that appropriated money to Trump to pay $6 million a year for deportees to be kept in an El Salvadoran prison?

Simultaneously, Kentucky voters elected Congresspeople who demean Federal programs and degrade the Federal government's finances. Neither KY nor many other states can have it both ways. The bill is coming due.
