"FSD unsupervised will be available for customers to use on their personal vehicles this year in the US" -- Elon Musk I would love it, but we all know how Elon does with timelines

This feels like a step in the wrong direction. If this is a move towards unsupervised make it harder to get a strike. Strikes are pretty hard to get in it's current state. Encouraging this behavior saying strikes aren't a big deal feels backwards.

This is rich from Dan. Criticizing others for exactly what he does with fsd videos. Posting small clips without context of the details and calling for a federal ban.

FSD 14.1 can use a drivethru🤯 When nav is used, it first tries to park because your only destination option is parking, but when you put it in the drivethru FSD does it correctly Once Tesla adds a drivethru button as one of the destination options it would be perfect

This is what worries me with Elon and Tesla. CEOs brought in from outside firms rarely ever work out. You need to grow the successor from within. People familiar with the teams and the culture of a company. Someone like Gwynne Shotwell at SpaceX that was an early employee and

LOL Elon Musk just said that anyone that wants Tesla AI FSD V14 in their HW4 car can install it right now if they set their updates to Advanced. Umm, I wish.

There has been a lot of talk lately about FSD "Reading Signs". Generally I view "reading" just as understanding the pattern of the sign, and not actually reading words. When looking at FSD, it's important to understand the world needs to be compressed to feed it into the model.

Tesla FSD V14.1.4 feels like Tesla removed the Kalman filter from V13. The latency has been dialed to 0. It feels like that filter that caused delay was smoothing things out, but the lack of latency is confidence inspiring.

EXACTLY! This is what I have been saying. Scale the fleet before the service area. Don't sacrifice the user experience just to make a chart so you can pretend you're surpassing Waymo.

So apparently Tesla hasn't killed the FSD V14.1.7 release after all? I'm curious why they didn't roll it wide, but it did just show up on my new Y.

FSD 14.2 model X first impressions Parking at destination feels very regressed. It shakes the wheel a lot, takes many attempts and still pans over the line. No brake stabbing for obstacles or other drivers, response to dynamic situations is much smoother. It reacts less to

It's crazy how much speed profiles have been nerfed in FSD 14.2. 55mph road with no traffic in front and even mad max will drive below the speed limit
