I often like to (half jokingly) tell people that we at E11 Bio are the SpaceX of biology, so I'm really excited to see this article by Ashlee Vance (Elon Musk biographer)! Excellent article explaining the challenges facing the field and our approach to overcome them.

Great article by Niko McCarty š§« in Asimov Press focusing on our work at E11 Bio to scale connectomics to entire mammalian brains. Tackling the most devastating neurological conditions and unlocking brain-inspired AGI requires rapid innovation!

This has been an amazing collaboration with a host of talented people! Early on Weinan Sun, Nelson Spruston and I had very high-level discussions on how to design an experiment to "close the loop" between neuroscience and AI. I like to think that we have done just that :) What a ride! š

Such a revealing momentāseeing hippocampus build a state machine for tasks in an orthogonalized manner! Truly honored to work with amazing Voralaks P., Johan Winnubst Nelson Spruston, and HHMI | Janelia team on this brilliant paper (a big milestone in my opinion)!

Exciting! 'Space is a latent sequence' & CSCG theory of hippocampus we developed at @GoogleDeepmind and Vicarious gets strong support in this nature paper with a set of ingenious animal experiments, neural recordings and analysis. Congrats Weinan Sun Nelson Spruston Johan Winnubst...1

Iām excited about this highly collaborative project by Weinan Sun, Johan Winnubst, and many other talented contributors. Read more about how our HHMI | Janelia team imaged thousands of neurons in mouse hippocampus as mice learned cognitive tasks over several days: janelia.org/news/mapmakingā¦
