SuperFooty (AFL) Didn’t know 5 Kangas’ players have kicked goals after the siren to win a game. I know 4. Jock Spencer v Cats in 1949. Doug Wade vs Pies in 73. Blight v Blues in 76. Alistair Clarkson’s v D’s in 87 (this article doesn’t mention it was his first game). Wonder who the 5th player is.

In August 1950 Kangas’ Team of the Century full forward & 7 time leading goal kicker, Jock Spencer, was on the front of Sporting Life magazine. Shortly after it was published Jock kicked 11 goals in that year’s finals, including 5 in North’s first ever preliminary final victory.
