We would like to thank everyone who participated in our Japanese Language Contest@Ireland2022. We had a wonderful response from Japanese language enthusiasts around the country.

After careful consideration by the Embassy of Japan in Ireland, Japanese language teaching specialists and Japanese language teachers and educators, we would like to announce the results as follows:

Congratulations to all participants who took part. Prizes for the awards are funded by the contest sponsors, the Japan Foundation and the Post-Primary Languages Ireland, with special prizes from the Embassy of Japan in Ireland.

Thrilled Karen Ruddock Post-Primary Languages Ireland (PPLI) awarded the Commendation of the FM of Japan 外務省 | Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan for outstanding contribution to the promotion of Japanese language education in Ireland. Karen is leading in the promotion of all languages through Languages Connect Very well done Karen!
