Wealth is created through production. The US has lost its production base to China and others, while remaining the largest consumer—hence our tens of trillions in debt. Production must return to the US, to improve debt/assets, and the tariffs will ensure that it happens.

Many US citizens oppose tariffs, due to short-term effects, but they ignore the fact that the US has been a victim of economic warfare. Countries have manipulated their currencies, infiltrated US markets, stolen our intellectual property, etc. Trump was first to respond. 🇺🇸

Trump is simply using the shock and awe of high tariffs to force others into negotiations. Once he gets a deal — likely by offering tariff rollbacks in exchange for a new framework — markets will likely rally hard. With this plan, Trump knows significant inflation isn't coming.
