I am devastated over the loss of Matthew Perry. There is no actor who has brought me joy & laughter in the way he has. His acting was vulnerable at the most random times as was his writing. If you haven’t read his book please do. He wanted to change lives with it. I bet he has.
What if I just tweeted all my thoughts about the shows I’m rewatching starting with Dean on Gilmore Girls is literally the worst character to ever exist and he should be thrown out a window.
I tried to be as open and honest as I could be. It's not perfect, and it's not everything, but it's a good summation of my mental health journey and how I cope. If you (or someone you know) are struggling, I hope you find something useful in here.❤️✌️ newyorker.com/culture/the-ne…

Daytime lost an icon tonight. There aren’t enough words to describe my ❤️ of Drake Hogestyn, how he got me thru my mom’s death in 98, how every hard moment he was there, still on Days, still part of an iconic duo, still giving me comfort. To say I’m 💔 is an understatement.
My friend Jess wrote a beautiful tribute to Drake Hogestyn and John Black, reflecting on the comfort we get from long-running characters/relationships & the grief that comes with losing them: givememyremote.com/remote/2025/07…
