Create space between how you feel and who you are. No one remains in a permanent state of anger, anxiety, or even joy. Instead, your emotions are constantly shifting and changing. They do not define you.

School leaders need to be prepared to engage in critical dialogue & praxis, & to defend the right of every child to an education no matter their identities. Every child needs to feel safe & thrive in schools in positive learning environments that affirm their identities

if someone comes to me for help with chronic procrastination now, i don't start with emotional blocks, productivity or inner anything i ask about sleep. if their sleep isn't solid that's where the work starts procrastination can often be the body running on battery-saving mode
