🚨 Now tech bros are going to attempt to steal creators’ copyrights for AI profits. This is 100% unacceptable. cbsnews.com/news/trump-fir…

First, the Tech Bro-ligarchs pushed the DOJ to file a court brief, stating AI companies can steal every copyright for profit. Then, they want to takeover the Copyright Office, to steal every copyright. Now, they want Congress to give them 10 years of state amnesty. Hell. No.

"I … have no confidence that the Supreme Court is ever going to address this issue in a serious way. It's in the nature of separated powers for the branches not to check themselves … it's time for Congress to act.” law360.co.uk/articles/23360…

Congrats to many excellent nominees on their confirmations tonight, but ESPECIALLY to #315 on this list, the incredible Mrs. Brittany Panuccio!

Cool that you agree Congress should start checking a judiciary that has long overstepped (e.g., rubber-stamping an off-the-rails, politicized DOJ that secretly spied on a third of the Senate).

Wow. FL S Ct still allows ABA as an *option* for accreditation, but given (among other reasons) that it’s actively engaged in discrimination, it should be eliminated entirely. & should any law school be permitted to use State $ to seek accreditation from a discriminatory org?

The alternative is to do what many states do (and what Florida once did): not violate the First Amendment by forcing attorneys to join and fund a nakedly political bar association just to practice their profession.

Excellent. Let’s go further and say the highly politicized (and often laughably wrong on the law) ABA should not be permitted to accredit law schools in Florida period. We don’t have to pretend it’s a legitimate organization.
